The weather in Metraland is beginning to get bearable again with not so much humidly; I was moist for most days the last month and a half, and it wasn’t always the heat! There where plenty of nearly naked hotties, lounging about at the clubs that have patios for most days and evenings. So, without any further ado, lets find out what’s happening in Metraland…starting with Chicago this time!

ILLINOIS
 BERLIN (Chicago, 773-348-4975), has a few events planned for ya! On Friday, August 27th at 11pm sharp it’s “NIGHT CAPS” featuring a late night cabaret with performances by Vallery Dolls, Lez Bo-Bo, plus Brian Dailey and Moe Welch, and your hosts Adam Guerino & The Puterbaugh Sisters. Also it’s “COSMIX FRIDAYS” with DJ Greg Haus spins till 4 am. On Monday, August 30th it’s “PERV TOYS” at Berlin with an exhibition of erotica with toy raffle for charity from 11am until 4am, no cover and its 21+. There will be over $200 worth of prizes! Also $2 raffle tickets and 3 tickets for $5. Spinning will be DJ’s Chester, Bunny riot, and Joshua also there will be live demonstrations and raffles hosted by Tulip Toy gallery! All the proceeds will be donated to the National Center for Lesbian Rights.
 And coming up on Friday, September 3rd at 9:30pm until 12:00am its “HERO” with special performances by the Stage Door Johnnies! You can enter their “MALE MODEL Search” to win a feature in Mint Male Magazine! So, wear your coolest comic book fashions and come in for some really big fun!
 SPIN (773-327-7711), continues to be the very best place to see the hottest entertainment on Halsted! And they have a whole “pant load” of special events coming up, such as on Thursday, August 26th its “STRANGE FRUIT: an Employee Turnabout Drag Show”. A fundraiser to benefit AIDSCARE from 9-10:30pm with a hosted bar featuring Absolut Vodka, Miller Lite and Miller High Life, and the show starts at 10:30pm sharp hosted by MERCEDES, and a $5 donation is suggested. Come and cheer for your favorite bartenders, bar-backs and security personnel in wigs and heels! What a hoot!
 On Saturday, August 28th it’s “JESSICA WILD and JADE” from RuPaul’s Drag Race! Come join these Latina a sensation as they perform two shows one at midnight and the other at 1:00am.  2nd STORY BAR (312-923-9536), this bar is a legend, it’s just above Sayat Nova a popular Armenian restaurant, and is a very cozy, relaxing, “neighborhood-like” watering hole with a loyal clientele of regulars and a constant flux of newbie’s! Popular with the hurried office workers, shoppers, and restaurant employees and hotel employees, and anyone who happens to wonder into the place, which makes for some interesting conversations?
 TOUCHE (773-465-7400), on Saturday, August 28th will have “Piercing Night” with Avant Garde and BEARS football at 7:30pm. Sundays are their “BEER BUST”
And they’ll have .50¢ drafts of Bud/Bud Light and a Victory Party & Cookout with a pool tourney at 7pm. Mondays are the “BIG GAME NIGHT” with sports on TV, and the Euchre Club with games and prizes! Tuesdays its “HARDCORE CRUSIN” the club room opens at 10pm.

 The MDSL (Metropolitan Detroit Softball League) is proud to host the 25th Annual MIST: LGBT Softball tournament on September 3rd through the 6th. Thirty two teams from across the U.S. and parts of Canada are participating, so come join MDSL for the official MIST parties beginning at 8 pm on Saturday, September 4rd, 2010 at Menjo’s Complex, Rainbow Room, Como’s, Club 9, Danny’s Irish Pub and the Post Bar of Ferndale. The games will be played at Rotunda Fields & Ford Woods Parks in Dearborn starting at 8am Saturday, September 4th and on Sunday, September 5th with the closing party to be at Menjo’s Complex.

MICHIGAN
 AFFIRMATIONS (248-398-7105), need volunteers to join “Team Affirmations” for AIDS WALK Detroit. Every year, Affirmation has a team of committed and enthusiastic walkers involved with AID WALK Detroit an event coordinated by “Steppin’ Out” that helps raise monies to support Affirmation HIV/AIDS prevention and education program and services. Call Carrie Copeland, Special Events Manager for more information at 248-398-7105. The AIDS Walk is Sunday, September 19th at 10:30 am and starts in front of Farmers Market in Downtown Royal Oak.
 NECTO (734-994-5436), has back-to-back “pridefridays” with a “WHITE PARTY” on Friday, September 3rd featuring a special DJ set by DAVE AUDE’ from Los Angeles. Dave is a Grammy nominated artist for Ultra Recordings & Audacious Records. Then on Friday, September 10th it’s the “BLACK PARTY” with DJ’s Jace, Mark, & John G. spinning.
 BODY ZONE (313-366-9663), has their popular “BLACKOUT Party” on Friday, September 10th and you know how much fun those are! Then on Saturday, September 18th you’ll be treated to their “LEATHER NIGHT” with $5 lockers for members in chaps or a harness. Following that will be “COLLEGE Night” on Saturday, September 25th with $5 lockers for members 18-25, if you like the preppy types it will be a great night for you!
 FIFTH WHEEL (313-846-8613), is your “Adult” bookstore with Magazines, Peep Show, on 17” LCD screens with Male videos & DVD’s to rent or buy. Their hours are Monday-Fridays from 10am-midnight and on Saturdays from 10am-10pm, located at 9320 Michigan Ave. just blocks from the R&R Saloon, stop in and browse around you might run into something you’ll want!
 GIGI'S (313-584-6525), the only place to be on MONDAYS with $2.00 cover before 10:50 pm along with Chico, Nickki Stevens and THE BOYS! Then there is my favorite night of all, “FUCK-YOU FRIDAYS” with a $2.00 cover before 10:50pm, and you can get “smashed, trashed, and fucked-up” while enjoying Chico, DeAngela, Sabin and ALL THE BOYS! Every Saturday it’s the finest in female impersonation in Gigi’s Cabaret Room with the hostess and “Queen of Everything” Nickki Stevens. Showtimes are 10pm, 11pm, & 1am with dancing in the upper level! Reservations are highly suggested.
 HAYLOFT SALOON (313-581-8913), will host a special weekend celebration when the MIST (Midwest Invitational Softball Tournament) comes to town on September 3rd through September 6th! On Friday there will be a “BALL PLAYERS” happy hour with those new low prices. Saturday & Sunday they will open at noon with a Barbeque later in the afternoon. Then coming up on Friday, September 10th its ICON Detroit’s “OFFICEWEAR FETISH PARTY” with raffles and Jello-shots! And then it’s the “MEGA BUS BAR INVASION TOUR”, the clubs that are on the tour are Menjo’s Complex, Adams Apple, GIGI’s Hayloft Saloon and the R&R Saloon starting at 1pm and runs until 3am, tickets are available at all the clubs listed above for just $5 per ticket.
 MENJO’S COMPLEX (313-863-3934),
will have the dance diva, DEBORAH COX performing on Saturday, August 28th and advanced tickets are $25 while they last and $35 at the door the night of this event if they’re available! Call the bar or go online at menjoscomplex.com for more ticket info! Showtime will be at 11:55 pm.
 Something NEW at Menjo’s will be “FLASHBACK FRIDAYS” with dance music from the 70’S & 80’S beginning at 10pm every week with the legendary DJ Jim Shaff, for sure to be a crowd pleaser!
 My favorite night is “Twinkie Tuesdays” with those hot bartenders and waiters and those nearly naked cute shot-boys, drinks are $2 all night long and ONLY $5 cover for everyone. Entertainment is provided by DeAngela “Show” Shannon, Tori Lynn, Sabin and music by DJ Nikolai. Another very popular night is “COLLEGE NIGHT” Thursdays with $2 drinks all night long and DJ John Cruz spinning the tunes and entertainment by your host Sabin. MENJO’S COMPLEX presents a “Softball Weekend Celebration” from Thursday, September 3rd through Monday, September 6th; with 70’s & 80’s dance music on Friday, dance music & the MIST Pub Crawl on Saturday, and then the MIST Closing Party on Sunday. On Monday it’s the LABOR DAY Barbeque & Pool party. If you’re not going out of town or you are coming into town stop in and enjoy the hottest party in town, only at the new MENJO’S COMPLEX!
 R&R SALOON (313-849-2751), has that “MACHO CITY” madness thing happening on Saturday, August 28th which is always a fun time! Coming up on Saturday, September 4th “DRU BRUIN” live. They’re open from 2pm with after-hours Wed., Fri., and Sat. until 4am and the kitchen is open from 10pm -4am!
 ICE (Hamtramck 313-365-1446), presents on Saturday, September 4th they will have a “LADY GAGA CONCERT AFTER PARTY” where you can dance until 4am and the doors open at 10pm also its 18+ to get in! Maybe GAGA, will stop by for a bit! Who knows!
 COMO’S (Ferndale 248-548-5005), has “the Reefermen” appearing on the Patio at 9pm every Wednesday. Also every Monday 95.5 live radio with DJ’s from the “Bomb Squad” plus their .20¢ wings from 9pm to midnight with a beverage purchase in the bar area only, its an in-house type deal folks.
 CLUB 9 (248-582-7227), wants to pump you up for “Wednesday HUMP Nights” and they have a theme for every “HUMP” night starting off on September 1st “FIRE & ICE” hump night with guest host Jade-in Black. September 8th its “PLAYERS & CHEERLEADERS” with guest host Sabin, for you sporting fans. September 15th it’s a “DRESS TO IMPRESS” hump night with guest host Chrystal Harding, and on September 22nd “JUST DANCE” with guest host DeAngela “Show” Shannon. Now that’s a line-up, for everyone’s palate!
 DUNES RESORT (Douglas 269-857-1401), will have their big “LABOR DAY” weekend from Thursday, September 2nd through Monday, September 6th, Labor Day, with DJ David Knapp and DJ Escape spinning. There will also be “PORN @ the POOL” with Cameron Adams and Rod Daily presented by Cockyboy.com, plus the Men of Manwatch will be hanging out and different guests in the Cabaret all weekend.
 RUMORS (616-454-8720), has another weekend of special events planned “FREE For ALL: Thursdays” with FREE Darts, FREE Pool, and HALF off all drinks, with DJ Monica Parker spinning the latest dance and pop tunes also it’s Euchre Night - 7pm! On Fridays it’s “Friday Night Fantasy” with two female strippers & two male strippers “shakin’ their thangs” in your faces with the talents of DJ Monica Parker spinning. Saturdays are “Men and Womyn Box Dancers” and DJ Craig Allen spinning the tunes that night, which brings us to Sundays where they have “Country Stompin’ from 6-9pm and it’s also Shownights with DJ Monica!

WINDSOR, CANADA
 LEGENDS OF 2012 (519-791-0816), our brothers and sisters from across the border, have some NEW changes at the club. The club will now be open from Tuesdays through Saturdays from 8:30pm until 2am, and Sundays for special events. The kitchen and patio will be open for dining, drinking, and even smoking, and they always do American money at par!
 They have “HOT FULLY NUDE MALE DANCERS” in the downstairs lounge Thursdays through Saturdays, and coming up on Sunday, August 29 it’s the “GAY BOAT CRUISE” so get your tickets now, there is only a limited amount available. On Friday, September 10th its “LEATHER, BEARS, & KINK Party” a little something for everyone, my, my! Oh, one more thing Legends of 2012 are always looking for new hot dancers and you can apply at the club.
